The most compatible web browsers for sitting ICAS Assessments<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

To ensure Technical Requirements are met, we recommend using Google Chrome to run Mathematics, English, Science and Digital Technologies for ICAS.<\/span><\/p>

Note 1: Web browser in order of preference (with compatible OS)<\/span><\/p>

Chrome 135+ (Windows 10 & 11, macOS 15+, iPadOS 17+, ChromeOS 135+)<\/span>
Firefox 138+ (Windows 10 & 11, macOS 15+, iPadOS 17+)<\/span>

    Note 1: An external keyboard or mouse is not necessary for students using a tablet.<\/span><\/p>

      Bandwidth<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

      • Please refer to the Technical readiness test for an internet speed test to confirm appropriate bandwidth is available for the student devices involved in the assessment.<\/span><\/li>
      • \u00a0A guideline for required bandwidth is 512 Kbps (0.512 Mbps) minimum download speed per 20 concurrent users.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        Setting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

        • A minimum screen resolution of 1024 width x 768 height is required.<\/span><\/li>
        • JavaScript must be enabled in the browser.<\/span><\/li>
